From The Death of the King of Pop, to the retirement of the Legendary Phil Collins is a sign the times, they are a changing. Musical Royalty is changing, for some the curtains are closing for good and for some they have chosen to embark on a new journey. Talents For Asia, dreads the day when U2 will retire, that would be dooms day in the music world.
But its really just evolution of life, everything has to evolve. The young become old and the old, well let just say they retire. Music has evolved from the days of Madonna to the now days of Lady Gaga, yet somehow, the revival of certain songs every now and then seems to not have changed all that much. This brings about the notion that they are certain things that may only evolve partially.
Music is like air; it’s always a need and will always be a big part of our lives no matter how you look at it. From classical, to rock, or even pop to jazz, the scope and the range of the various types of music that reaches us is really tremendous, Creativity is not lacking but it has evolved. Talents For Asia is all for growth, but like any other person who is apart of what is; the most amazing industry in to work, Talents For Asia is sad to see the greats retire. We all had a bit of Phil Collins in our lives at some point; it’s like watching a good friend move away.
